The title of the lecture is the un-asked question behind many of the questions that are asked when the museum curator talks to museum visitors.

“History of the churches and cemeteries of BOW”

Presented by Orie Eilertson, B.H.G. President, and Local Historian

This lecture will open a window to the history of three churches and two cemeteries that were inside the fence and the one Free Thinker Hall with its cemetery outside the fence

Methodist Episcopal Church that was located at the corner of two town roads and US Hwy 12.






April 11, 7:00 pm.

“Badger Village”

Presented by Michael Goc, award winning author of Powder, People and Place

In this lecture Mike will explore the many stories that are Badger Village.



The original Badger Village built during WWII for housing some of the over 12,000 workers in the Badger Ordnance Works.

 

May 9, 7:00 pm.

“Badger Ordnance Works/Badger Army Ammunition Plant Stories”

Presented by Verlyn Mueller, Curator, Museum of Badger Army Ammunition

The construction supervisor who got lost on the construction site.

The Museum will close for the Steam Engine Show on Thursday August 16 and reopen on Tuesday Aug 22.
